Audience
The service is offered in English to adult U.S. residents (18+). This release is intended for U.S. distribution only. This is not an offer to other markets.
What the app does with your data
Easy Mart is a free React Native app for iOS and Android. It generates meal suggestions and a shopping checklist on your device. It does not require an account, take payment, sync your plan to our servers or connect to retailer accounts in this version.
Preferences (including dietary and allergen exclusions), plans, favourites, pantry items, checked groceries and the advertising setting are stored on your device. We do not send these to Google as ad targeting or to an application server. Dietary preferences may reveal sensitive information: enter only what you need for meal selection. The local application uses these inputs solely to provide your requested features.
Advertising and optional video rewards
An optional video unlocks an alternative week to compare and choose, including its recipes and groceries. The current plan, recipes and grocery list remain available without a video. Interstitial ads may appear at natural transitions between repeat plan generations, subject to frequency limits. Before any ad request, the app checks Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) privacy requirements and presents a form only where required. Refusing consent or switching advertising off does not remove app functionality. This version requests non-personalised ads only; this does not mean ads process no personal data.
Google AdMob may process IP address (which can infer approximate location), device and advertising identifiers where permitted, app/device information, ad interactions and diagnostics for ad delivery, measurement, security and fraud prevention. It does not receive your meal plan or dietary inputs from us. Google determines some of its own processing purposes; its role and retention depend on the service and applicable terms. Read Google privacy policy and Google partner information.
Consent governs device storage and ad processing where required. Where applicable, strictly necessary security and support processing relies on legitimate interests, subject to your rights. SMARTNESS HOME is established in France; applicable GDPR obligations remain relevant even though this service is intended for U.S. residents. The service uses Google’s applicable advertising terms and Cloudflare’s applicable hosting terms; contact us for information about the contractual and transfer safeguards relevant to your data. We do not request precise location, contacts, microphone or speech-recognition access. If you choose a photo-library destination from the system share sheet, your device may request permission to save the card; this is optional and no photo is sent to us. No personalised advertising or cross-app tracking is requested by the app in this release.
Website and support
The website is informational only: no accounts, subscriptions, analytics scripts or web ads. The host may process IP address, request metadata and security logs to deliver and protect the site. Hosting and delivery are provided by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Cloudflare operates an international network and may process request data in countries other than yours. See Cloudflare privacy information. The site does not intentionally log meal data or dietary preferences. The dedicated site deployment disables application-level Workers observability logs. Cloudflare may retain service and security data under its applicable service configuration and contractual terms; see its privacy information above. If you email support, we receive your email address, message and attachments; we retain correspondence as needed to resolve your request and comply with applicable legal obligations or handle disputes, and delete irrelevant attachments when no longer needed. Never send medical records or passwords.
Retention, deletion and your rights
Local data remains until reset or removal; Settings → Erase my local data clears the app's saved preferences and lists. Operating-system backups are controlled separately in device settings. Google's retention and rights processes are described in its policy. Advertising privacy choices are available in Settings; you may withdraw consent or turn ads off at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing.
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing, and opt out of sale/sharing or targeted advertising where applicable. Contact the controller above. We do not sell your meal data; do not interpret this as a blanket claim that third-party advertising involves no regulated disclosure. Requests about ad data may also need Google's rights process. You may complain to your U.S. state attorney general or applicable privacy regulator, and the CNIL in France for processing within its competence.
Google and hosting/support providers may process data outside your country. Where applicable, transfers from France or the EEA require an adequacy decision or other lawful safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data. See Cloudflare’s Data Processing Addendum and Google’s privacy information linked above.
Children and updates
The app is intended for adults planning meals, not directed to children under 13. Do not enable child-directed or family marketing without a separate privacy and advertising review. Material changes will be reflected in an updated policy and, where required, renewed consent before new processing starts.
U.S. state privacy requests
Where applicable state law gives you these rights, you may submit requests using the contact above or by post to the registered office. We verify requests proportionately, accept authorised agents as required by law, and provide appeal instructions when denying a request where an appeal right applies. We do not discriminate for exercising privacy rights. Statutory response periods and exemptions apply. You can decline advertising entirely in Settings. The informational website does not run advertising or optional analytics; a browser Global Privacy Control signal is therefore not overridden by any web advertising activity.
Local notifications, ratings and sharing
Weekly reminders are off by default. If you opt in, the operating system schedules a reminder on this device for Sunday at 6 PM in the device’s local time. A test reminder is sent only when you request it. Notification permission is optional and can be withdrawn in app or device settings. We do not obtain a push token or send reminders from a server. Notifications use generic meal-planning wording and do not expose dietary settings on the lock screen. Erasing local data cancels the app’s scheduled reminders.
Sharing opens a dedicated preview before the system share sheet. An image contains Easy Mart branding, selected meal/list content and our public website; text sharing includes the full selected list or menu. You choose the destination and recipient. Cards are generated in temporary local storage and released after sharing. Recipients and destination services may retain what you send under their own terms. No contact list is read and no sharing occurs automatically. Meal choices can reveal preferences, so review before sending.
The app may ask the operating system to display its native rating dialog after meaningful use, at a limited frequency; you can also request it in Settings. Apple/Google decide whether the dialog appears and handle reviews under their policies. We do not ask for a positive rating or condition app access or rewards on a rating or share.
